Custom carpentry is where Assured Contracting Company really shines. Our clients regularly tell us that a custom wall storage system or wardrobe we built added real storage — and real value — to their home. If you're tired of furniture that never quite fits or closets that waste half their space, a custom build is the answer.
Every built-in we create is designed for your specific room, measured precisely, and finished by hand. Nick is meticulous about the details, from consistent reveals between doors to trim that ties seamlessly into existing walls.
Storage Built for Real Life
Families accumulate things — coats, shoes, sports gear, books, toys, seasonal decorations. Off-the-shelf storage rarely fits the space or the need. Custom builds use every inch available, including the awkward corners, sloped ceilings, and alcoves that store-bought furniture can't handle.
We start by understanding what needs to be stored and how often you need it. Then we design storage that keeps daily items within easy reach and puts everything else neatly out of sight.
Custom Projects We Build
Our custom carpentry work includes:
- Built-in wardrobes and closet systems
- Wall storage systems and entertainment centers
- Bookcases, window seats, and reading nooks
- Mudroom lockers, benches, and drop zones
- Home office built-ins and desks
- Pantry shelving and under-stair storage
Fine Carpentry With Attention to Detail
The difference between a good built-in and a great one is in the details: doors that close evenly, shelves that don't sag, crown molding that meets the ceiling cleanly, and paint finishes that look like furniture rather than plywood. We build with quality materials and take the time to scribe, fill, and finish every piece so it looks like it was always part of the house.
Homeowners describe Nick as punctual, meticulous, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish — that's the experience we aim to deliver on every custom project.
Home Additions and Larger Custom Projects
Some projects call for more than a built-in. When you need additional living space, we also take on home additions — from expanded family rooms to new bedrooms — coordinated with the same hands-on attention as our smaller custom work. We'll discuss feasibility, permitting, and scope during your free estimate.
